your images for you having scanned from various sources (transparency, negative, old, new, digital files, scanned hard copy etc) ..... but these are always going to depend on the sharpness and quality of the original image. Sometimes the new image can be scaled up larger. See the gallery page

we can store
your images for a negotiable period of time and nominal charge so that knowing your requirements in advance will save you money. If you anticipate that you might need copies for other purposes after the first print and let us know in advance additional copies can then be made without the 50% surcharge. (price list)

what you see on screen, with a projector, is not what you will get on print. Shadow areas tend to fill in when going from medium to medium. We aim to get the very best print possible. Your prints from slides will never look the same as the original slides. They can't because the slides are viewed translucently with light showing through the colour film, whereas prints are viewed with reflected light. Your eyes see the colours by light being reflected off the printed surface and some detail and colour gets lost in the process.
